Chapter 11 Bankruptcy forced sale

After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, a husband and wife had a limited window to sell their home before foreclosure. The house needed to be sold for cash and As-Is, primarily due to a severe rodent infestation they had battled for nearly a decade.

They planned to relocate two states away to be closer to family but had no money for the move. To ease their transition, we provided the necessary funds to cover their relocation expenses, ensuring they could start fresh without financial strain.

During the rehab, we discovered a sewage leak in the crawl space—likely the source of the rodent problem. Once repaired, the home was finally free of its long-standing pest issue.

When the home sold, the couple received an additional $30,000 from the sale, as per our agreed-upon price before their move, giving them extra financial stability in their new chapter.
